Principal Engineer, Software Engineering; Rockwell Collins Inc. Cedar Rapids, IA. Develop, coordinate, & conduct tests & debug control & diagnostic systems & design & implement build procedures to support hardware & software product dev. Must have a bach degree or equiv in Comp Sci, Electrical Eng’g or a rltd & at least 8 yrs of progressive exp as an Embedded Software Eng or related role (OR master & 5 yrs of exp). Must have 5 yrs exp w/ LynxOS 178 operating system, DO-178B/C processes, Device driver & C library dev, C/C++ & Python languages, req writing, both high & low level, test cases & test procedures dev; Avionics embedded software dev; Software Verification, including: Object Code, Memory, Stack, Timing, Partitioning, Link & Structural Coverage Analysis; Hardware Software integration on an Avionics platform; & 4 yrs of project leadership exp, leading embedded avionics software project using DO-178C processes.
