Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop high-quality web applications, enhance enterprise product features, and contribute across the full SDLC. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and serve as a technical leader on key projects. Senior Software Engineer will:
Design, develop, debug, and test web-enabled interfaces for DSS products.
Enhance existing product features, build new modules, and contribute to new product development.
Participate in project planning, product maintenance, system enhancements, and rapid issue resolution.
Mentor junior developers by sharing technical expertise and best practices.
Serve as the primary development point of contact for one or more projects.
Additional Responsibilities:
Adhere to established development and documentation standards.
Provide timely technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, version notes, and user guides.
Communicate effectively across engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
Travel occasionally (up to 25%) based on business and client needs.
Security and Privacy Responsibilities:
Individuals working for DSS or any Subsidiary will be subject to security and privacy requirements as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53. Additionally, they are required to undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties. Individuals working in departments that are considered to be in the high-risk category will be required to undergo advanced training based on their role and level of access. Individuals with access to modify data and the configuration baseline will require further training.
