The client is seeking a strategic IT leader to manage and enhance their Distributed Order Management (DOM) capabilities. This high-visibility position sits at the confluence of technology, operations, and business strategy, impacting customer experiences and order commitments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, with experience in architectural leadership and transformation within complex, large-scale environments. This role involves defining and executing the strategy and long-term vision for DOM in alignment with business and operational priorities. The leader will own the end-to-end DOM platform, involve in its architecture, roadmap, implementation, and continued improvement. Responsibilities include leading solution discovery and design, driving modernization with technology advancements such as AI/ML, ensuring data governance, and partnering cross-functionally for effective execution. Additionally, leading change management efforts, mentoring technical leaders, defining team skillsets, and managing external partnerships are critical to the position. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in fields such as Computer Science or Engineering, with a Master's preferred. A minimum of five years of experience in delivering advanced Order Management solutions is required, alongside skills in order processing, fulfillment, and inventory optimization. The successful applicant will possess strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to apply modern technologies to solve business challenges. Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations is also important.
