Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our nonprofit community health center, which has been dedicated to providing affordable primary care to residents in a vibrant neighborhood near Boston. With a legacy spanning 50 years, our center serves thousands of patients annually, including many low-income families, immigrants, and individuals requiring assistance with language or insurance. Our comprehensive primary care offerings encompass family medicine, pediatrics, dental services, behavioral health counseling, vision care, and support for enrolling in health insurance programs.
About the Opportunity:
Outpatient-focused role.
Become part of a collaborative team of 8 physicians, including specialists in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Pediatrics.
32 hours dedicated to patient care, complemented by 8 hours of administrative time, which can be performed remotely.
On average, each provider sees around 20 patients daily.
On-call responsibilities are minimal, averaging just 3 to 4 times a year.
On-call duties occur once per quarter, ensuring a strong emphasis on work-life balance, allowing our providers to prioritize high-quality patient care alongside administrative tasks.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive base salary with the potential for annual bonuses of up to $20,000.
Loan repayment options available through various programs.
Employer qualifies for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.
Location and Community:
The neighborhood boasts a population of approximately 50,000 to 55,000 residents.
It features a diverse community of long-term families, young professionals, and students, thanks to its proximity to major universities such as Boston College and Boston University.
